Miracles taking place.

India is a land of miracles and here miracles take place incessantly. Again a miracle is sprouting out here, ready to astound those who rebuke it and to shut down the mouths of critics and to prove itself worthy. Initial progress by the miracle is just a herald and in the long run this one is going to become an exemplary one.

CM of Bihar
Nitish Kumar
Bihar has lately become a good omen of growth for the whole nation. Once Bihar was a state sweltering with the heat of oppression. The state which was once replete with the putrid of crime is emerging out from the darkness. The place where “Gundaraj” used to loom large and the place where the morning of justice didn’t used to cast its spell over the people. The state where the voice of freedom of bourgeois never used to reverberate. But the aforementioned miracle took place there. The miracle of administration has again proved that a good dedicated leadership with intelligentsia administration replenished with the dream and desire to work hard to eliminate injustice, obliterate the criminals and empower the people.

Bihar has admitted a registered GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of 12 percent per year for eight years which is the fastest among major Indian states and is a presage that in coming years Bihar is going to give tough competition to big states like Gujarat, New Delhi etc. Bihar’s this progress has portrayed that good governance can transform everything.

Bihar once known as a place where children didn’t used to go to schools and where illiteracy was prevalent has now turned to a new leaf of life. In Bihar social progress was gigantic and incredible this time. The state recorded an augmentation in literacy level with 17% in the decade 2001-2011 and female literacy hiked at even more speedy rate with 20% increment.

There used to be a time when due to less developed medical condition and sanitary system Bihar was far worse than the national average in life expectancy but now it has nearly equalled the Indian life expectancy average. (Bihar’s life expectancy=65.8 years, and national 66.1 years). Bihar’s death rate has also plummeted to 6.7 per thousand against the national death rate.

Such a wonderful boost in these figures is wonderful and praiseworthy. Bihar with such a great progress has become a repository of good governance and miracles.

But still some darker areas are left. Bihar is having lowest ratio of social spending per capita and is India’s poorest state. Rural poverty in 2004-09 just declined by 0.4% against the national 8.2%(because of a major draught in the year 2009).

But some factors like curtailed migration of Bihar, are exhibiting that the prosperity of the state is soaring day by day.

Bihar has a good potential to emerge out as a great state in India and can work ahead to produce a good example of governance in india.

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat

Jai Ma Bharti.
