A great man for his people.

RIP Hugo Chavez.
Today on 05- March-2013, Venezuela lost its great President Mr.Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, the person who laid the new foundation of Venezuela, the person who took the country from rags to riches, the person who never looked back after becoming the president of Venezuela. The person who took the country dissipating in terms of many concept to a prosperous country.
This man truly was a living legend for millions of poor in Venezuela and a divisive figure in global politics.
Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías was born on 28 July 1954 in his paternal grandmother Rosa Inéz Chávez's home, a modest three-room house located in the rural village Sabaneta, Barinas State and was president of Venezuela from 1999 till his death. Hugo Chavez followed "Bolivarianism" and "socialism of 21st century" focusing on reforms and growth of the country.  His parents, Hugo de los Reyes Chávez and Elena Frías de Chávez, were working-lower middle class schoolteachers who lived in the small village of Los Rastrojos. Hugo in most of his childhood lived with his grandmother as his parents were very poor.
Chavez at the age of seventeen studied at Venezuelan Academy of Military Sciences in Caracas. Living in Caracas Mr. Hugo saw poverty and hardships endured by people of Venezuala. In Peru Chávez heard the leftist president, General Juan Velasco Alvarado (1910–1977), speak, and inspired by Velasco's ideas that the military should act in the interests of the working classes when the ruling classes were perceived as corrupt,he "drank up the books [Velasco had written], even memorising some speeches almost completely." Befriending the son of Panamanian President Omar Torrijos (1929–1981), another leftist military general, Chávez subsequently visited Panama, where he met with Torrijos, and was impressed with his land reform program that was designed to benefit the peasants which he used in the long run.
Chavez was elected to the presidency in the year 1999 with 56.04% votes in the elections and won all the elections. He restructered the constitution of Venezuela and chose a special constituent assembly for this purpose.
From the beginning he has been a US baiter and critic and has always condemned US policies. He compared US Former President George W. Bush with a donkey and also rebuked US for its foreign policies. The charismatic leader was defiantly anti-west and perhaps the most successful among his counterparts in the region.
He used Venezuela's natural resources in an intellectual manneer to improve the lives of people. He nationalised the oil industry to make the foreign companies go out from the country, used exports earning to eradicate poverty. Poverty in Venezuela diminished from 61% in 1997 to 33% a decade leader. Inequality too declined in Venezuela. Unesco has itself recognised decline in illeteracy. Because of good policies malnutrition dropped to just 5%. No. of doctors per thousand inhabitants rosed from 18 to 58. An estimated 96% of the population has supply for drinking water.
Works done by this man for his people are wonderfull great.
