Now the
Government of India has been hatching a plan in order to replenish its coffers
and to curtail the fiscal deficit. The plan is to prevent the country’s growth
from pruning by incrementing taxes on the rich people. The plot is a good one
which will aim at obliterating the gaps between the rich and poor and the money
in form of tax collected from rich people can be used in accommodating
subsidies to the impoverished and paupers.
But let me
tell you something which is very perilous for the people. You would be thinking
that our government is out of order at many other things but in terms of
elaboration of something. Its ridiculous; but it is not, this one is an
accepted and authentic fact and I am having sustainable evidence to prove that
I am right.
If a
government can proclaim that people earning ₹32 a day in urban area in such a high inflation rate where even people getting remuneration of ₹25000 a month
have to tackle a lot of hindrances and
obstacles in their daily life and the government say that a person earning ₹960 a month is not a poor man. Isn’t that completely
reprehensible. It definitely is.
The government in this
plan(tax on rich people) also needs to strive a lot and because it’s a very
huge project has to diminish its discrepancies. I am having a question for the
government in this context.
For a person who
sleeps on footpath, a person having house would be richer, for a person having
a house, a person having car would be richer, for a person having car, his
manager would be richer and the story will go on without bearing any end.
So the government now
has a need to first emend its definition of a poor man, otherwise everyone
would be richer. India observed an immense depreciation in the number of poor
people in the country, this was not due to country’s economic growth, this was
because of extenuating the bar of poverty line, so if the government wants to
diminish number of poor people in the country, then the country is definitely
going to demote. First amend the way, you people describe the poverty and then
should see who is poor and who is not.
