The environment can be expressed as our surroundings. Every beautiful thing, creatures, plants, animals, rivers, forest, mountains and numerous of wonderful things make up the nature. So this means that nature comprises of everything we see. In this whole world nothing is better or more precious than the environment and sans environment there is nothing, no life, no creature and in-toto nothing.
But nowadays we humans are becoming hostile and rude to our nature and are doing heart-wrenching things to the mother earth and our nature that has allocated us everything we wanted. We people are acting as a traitor to the sentimental and kind-hearted earth. And this infringement of humans in the environmental activities is termed as the Environmental Degradation. Nowadays we brutal people are destroying and exploiting the nature. Our wonderful and splendid nature is being debilitated by us.
The intensity of environmental degradation has increased and intensified due to the insatiable desire of human beings. This thing has increased and soared so much that UN (United Nations) has placed the Environmental Degradation in top 10 most risky things of this world.
Now lets unravel all these things. These things are inter-related so we will understand one by one.
The first thing that comes here is Population.
There has been a sudden surge and hiking in the population but the resources didn't increased in these years, as we have only taken and not given anything to the mighty nature. The large population needs a large amount of things and commodities which are extracted from the nature but as we extracted a large amount of things from the nature, there was only few left and now we are simply starving.
After that we commenced exterminating the purity and piousness of the rivers. We started throwing unwanted wastes and factories' waste and inorganic excretion in the rivers without processing them and the water also get contaminated and the eco-balance was disturbed.
Now it was the chance of air. We started destroying the air. The emission of various obnoxious gases from the chimneys and factories and many other things led to Global Warming. And now due to global warming, our glaciers are melting. Therefore, the level of water in rivers is also soaring and rivers are over flooding leading to floods, cyclones etc.
Our wildlife is also being destroyed by thousands of unethical people and our trees are being cut for personal use. The forests are being cleared for urbanization and our nature is lacking behind.
Now we have a need to do something seriously for the nature.
