Work hard in silence....

Our future lies not in our hands, but in our works. In this world, there is only one thing pre-decided that nothing is actually decided. Therefore no prediction, no suggestion thrown at you can ever be real or authentic except one thing that you are a true genius. The lines in your hand are only functional until and unless you start working but the day, you take up a firm decision to change your fate, the lines in your hand would fall short of depicting your greatness and they would have to change. Keep in mind some weltered lines can never portray how much greatness you would exhibit or how much nescience would creep into you head, they are actually inconclusive lines which can never tell you anything; only your determination to work hard, to persevere and to surpass all the odds. Life is actually the biggest game of the world. Its not a mathematical expression where things would always go pre-decided, where everything is already pre-destined; here passion and willingness to succeed, here even the champions can wilt down and the losers can come up to reach the top, here uncountable underdogs are produced every day and here greatness is what you need, here all the rules can be violated, here the rags can become riches and vice versa too, here the weakest can become strongest in paradigm manner and here most often the luck prevaricates. Life is truly the most abstruse game which nobody can understands because the rules of this game are indeed prepared by the players. If you deserve more, the rules would bend for you and if you are a complaint personality, the rules would become inflexible for you.

Its lies on you to choose whether you are compliant to the world or obdurate enough to transform the world.

KEEP MOVING AHEAD

Many a times when we are pursuing some big goal in life, we all become effete sometimes and we start believing that we can't do it. We start thinking about the failure and how we would end up failing at things we love most, we start envisaging our enervation and fumbling down; when we are unable to crack things up in the practice session we all soar up to the crescendo of despair and commence telling ourselves that we would never achieve greatness. To all those of you who are actually undergoing such hardships of life, let me tell you this is what you need to become great.

Growth and greatness comes only when we step out of our comfort zone, if you continue doing things you already know how to do, you become like a stagnant water marred with contamination of haughtiness, pride and above all ennui. We prevaricate to ourselves about our superficial greatness and hence growth is actually completely restrained and our downfall starts but when you truly step out of your comfort zone, you learn something new that you didn't know before and untill and unless you do something new and novel, you would never grow at all because growing is adding on new and ingenious things and greatness comes from growing everyday.

So today if you are feeling disheartened, then truly it's part and parcel of becoming great because when you feel as if you can hold on no more, when you feel that you just can't change anything and want to quit up all the things and if, despite of feeling all such things, you are ready to persevere, then truly the growth would increment and new things would add on. So, just carry on at your work. If you don't face hard problems, you would never evolve. You can never become a world class football player if you continue to play in a children's park. You have to get up, go out and play with the real boy and then mutate yourself to be better than them. Every great person on earth has undergone all such things, what they did was that they just carried on and if you too continue pushing, one day you would get through.

Muhammad Ali, The greatest of all.

Thanks to the petty thief who gave us all, the greatest champion in the history, the invincible, the unvanquishable and the double greatest, Sir Muhammad Ali. This is a story of an African American boy who grew up in racism and hate; but showed the world how to laugh, the guy who flew like butterfly and stung like a bee; the one who wrestled with alligators, tussled with whale, handcuffed lightning, threw thunder in jail, the one who murdered a rock and hospitalized the brick, he was so mean that he made the medicine sick.

The story of the greatest champions's double greatest life started when he was twelve years old. A thief had taken away his bicycle and Ali was fuming over the incident. He told the Louisville police officer and boxing coach that he would "whup" the thief, Mr. Martin suggested the boy that he learn to box first and what follows ahead was just a nightmare for all the other boxers in the world. Ali commenced his amateur campaign in the year 1954, winning  six Kentucky Golden Gloves titles, two national Golden Gloves titles, an Amateur Athletic Union national title, and the Light Heavyweight gold medal in the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome.  His amateur record lucidly elaborates his greatness as he had 100 wins with only 5 losses. Ali made his professional debut in the year 1960, and started his campaign with a win over Tunney Hunsaker. He went ahead beating the famous boxers of that time, including Henry Cooper, Jim Robinson and Doug Jones thus clinching up a total of 19 fights with zero losses. Then came a huge fight in the life of Ali, the one with the world champion Sonny Liston. This fight is truly a fight of century for me. In the third round, Ali even opened a cut in the eye of Liston, but as the fourth round came up, Ali's eyes swelled and he almost became blinded. It is speculated that the corners deliberately put the ointment on Liston's glove with made Ali blinded for fight (the same problems were reported by some other fighters who fought with Liston), but still the great Ali dodged almost every punch by Liston and at last Liston refused to come up for seventh round, and Muhammad Ali was declared triumphant. This is not the only fight to raise goosebumps, many other fights especially with Joe Frazier, kept the world amazed at how so much greatness can reside in just one man. Joe hit Ali with around 448 punches in the Thrilla in Manilla which according to Frazier would take a whole city down, but you know the greatest couldn't fit in just one city and hence Ali, as usual won the fight. Various other fights like Rumble In The Jungle etc. continue to exaggerate Ali's glory and what we got to see what the god of greatness, landing knockouts in the ring. His 37 knockout wins are still mesmerizing and this guy was truly the double greatest.

Despite of being such a great sports person Ali was a great guy by heart too. In March 1966, Ali refused to be inducted into the armed forces, stating that he had "no quarrel with them Vietcong". "My conscience won't let me go shoot my brother, or some darker people, or some poor hungry people in the mud for big powerful America. And shoot them for what? They never called me nigger, they never lynched me, they didn't put no dogs on me, they didn't rob me of my nationality, rape or kill my mother and father.... How can I shoot them poor people? Just take me to jail."He was systematically denied a boxing license in every state and stripped of his passport. As a result, he did not fight from March 1967 to October 1970—from ages 25 to almost 29—as his case worked its way through the appeals process. In 1971, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned his conviction in a unanimous 8–0 ruling (Thurgood Marshall avoided himself, as he had been the U.S. Solicitor General at the time of Ali's conviction).
On August 12, 1970, with his case still in appeal, Ali was granted a license to box by the City of Atlanta Athletic Commission, thanks to State Senator Leroy R. Johnson

During this time of inactivity, as opposition to the Vietnam War began to grow and Ali's stance gained sympathy, he spoke at colleges across the nation, criticizing the Vietnam War and advocating African American pride and racial justice.

Even coming after three years of no profession boxing, Ali boxing powers and his hand's strength were never allayed or enervated. He again became the great heavyweight champion but this time somewhat more elegantly and with some extra added beauty.

The champion always lived like the champion; his voice against racism and his great passion for boxing and sports gained him so much respect which he indeed deserved. His candid attitude towards political issues, gave so many African Americans a confidence that, the color of their skin didn't matter at all and even they could come up beating all odds.

Ali's greatness is far above his death and though the great soul is not among us today, but his greatness has been larger than life and would survive till posterity because the double greatest didn't learn how to lose.

MUHAMMAD ALI; THE GREATEST OF ALL.........

The greatest has proved how great he was. Today, the world lost one the biggest jewels it had and people collectively lost the greatest motivation they had, Sir Muhammad Ali is no more and what remains behind is just his greatness, his great legacy and also his invincible attitude.

Indeed, in our life there is only one thing important; how many people will cry when you die but for Muhammad Ali, it would be easy to count those who won't cry, because there can't be anybody in the world who didn't love this great guy, the one who revolutionized boxing as well as the effete esteem of African Americans in the sport world as well as all the other dimensions. Today, almost all the people who have seen "The greatest" ever fighting, would have cried. The one who always told the world that nothing is impossible; not even beating Joe Frazier notwithstanding coming out from a boxing exile of four years and after having so many physical issues. In actuality, one word to determine the greatness of Sir Muhammad Ali would be  "Just Exceptional".

Today the whole world cries behind as the greatest left us all. Muhammad Ali has always been an inspiration to almost everyone be it old, young, tall, short, black, white, strong or weak. The whole world epitomize his as the legendary boxer with great speed, ability and agility. But the one who floated like butterfly and stung like the bee is no more to give us more punchlines. Though today he is no more in the world, but his greatness still remains and that's the reason that even so many years after his last fight, we continue to remember him and believe me he is the actual paragon of the boxing world who can be outfought by nobody. The way Sir Muhammad fought his battles, making fun of the opponent roasting him up, and then coming up back in the last rounds to punch a knockout is truly exceptional and nobody can ever surpass that. His phenomenal career was marked by 56 wins  out of which 37 were KO wins which his Gold in Olympic leaves no stone unturned in aggrandizing his glory. And truly boxing was just one of the facets of the life of this great guy, he lived much larger, stronger and longer than the life itself and truly his greatness could never die but just like the butterfly, the sting's greatness too is immortal....

THE KILLERS OF EDUCATION SYSTEM OF THE NATION....

It's not a covert fact how the parasite of corruption has been stinging on our education system for so long thus jeopardizing the future of so many students around the nation. Today, one more horrific incident of the scary education system's face came up in front of me and what followed was only resentment at how the whole system has been established. Recently I came to know the procedure through which any candidate can apply for reevaluation of his answer book if he/she has been the part of the CBSE system.

Though its common fact that CBSE is known for miracles. The nation's biggest educational boards, every year increments the number of highly educated, exceptional English philologists (by giving almost everyone 95 marks in English for free) and how such a great passing percentage of CBSE has even made other great nations jealous of us. For that stuff you can ready my previous post (http://hsharma261960.blogspot.in/2016/05/indian-education-systemreaching-nadir.html) but the story doesn't end here. Here is something more relishing about how the papers are checked and how the officials in CBSE get to earn free money just for nothing.

Seriously checking the examination papers of 10 Lakh students is not a child' play for any normal institution and hence this great institution came up with a way to tackle the pressure, the whole system was converted into a game for the examiners, you get paid for every answersheet you check and you can earn for as many answer sheets you check. So its actually a game for all the examiners because, the don't give a damn to any student's future and the only thing they care about is money. Its a natural human tendency that if you are getting paid per answersheet then you would just try to grab as much of them as you can in order to increase the daily earning and in this process of stupidity, mistakes are inevitable and at last there is complete infringement of the student's future because examiners (because of the deeds of CBSE) are in hurry to tick the paper they like based on a few keywords, rather than actually looking into the paper and hence many mistakes creep in, which do harm to none but the students.

But this is actually just a trailer of the tomfoolery being followed up, the film is yet to be screened. If you want to challenge the CBSE's evaluation of your paper, then you have to follow a cumbersome and formidable process. First of all you have to make an online application along with Rs. 300 (per subject) just to get your numbers verified. CBSE takes Rs. 300, just to take out your paper and verify the marks (By the way who knows whether the marks have been actually verified or not; as far as I believe they are not because CBSE would never like to get its reputation challenged). If this appears reasonable to you people, then have a look at it; you will have to pay Rs. 700 more just to get your answer sheet's photocopy to be given to you. Just uploading one answer sheet costs CBSE Rs.700. Nice way to earn free money from every student who has done just one crime id est challenging CBSE's evaluation. Things don't stop here; you have to give an undertaking too, which clearly avers that you can't challenge CBSE in any court of law, you can't challenge the examiner's evaluation; you have no right to raise your voice against CBSE  on any forum. This is actually a harakiri of justice and that too by an educational institution. Students are required to write this whole undertaking and its quite obvious that the student is being made to pen down the undertaking in complete duress. This actually points out the truth of the whole system. First of all they grab so much money and that too for negligible work and afterwards, an institution checking answer sheets of 10 lakh students; is not confident of its checking and evaluation of answer sheets (even CBSE can smell the rat). The ordeal doesn't end here, despite of doling out Rs. 1000 (on an unworthy process), you can actually ask for reevaluation for only 10 questions and each question would be of Rs 100, which leads to a total of Rs. 1000 for 10 question and thus in the end you have to submit Rs. 2000 for just one paper.

If we make up an estimate, per subject CBSE takes up Rs. 2000 on a condition that even if there has been a fault on behalf of CBSE, you won't be able to challenge the evaluation. This actually shows how some corrupt institutions are taking up the whole money with themselves and are decimating the whole of the education system. In this age of modernization, almost every entrance exam's sheets are uploaded online so that the students could view them; but not that of CBSE. Just to get your paper rechecked you have to give Rs. 2000 per subject. I acknowledge the fact that some amount of money must be spent as, they have to call teachers etc. but Rs.1000 for nothing (as verification is just counting the marks again and that surely needs no specialized teacher) and then Rs. 100 per question. Is it a game that first you ask examiners to check all the answer sheets in complete hurry and then you extort money in order to reconsider their paper. Actually institutions like CBSE are responsible for such a degraded education system of our nation. Toppers in Bihar don't know the first element of periodic table, that's shameful but it happens everywhere around the nation. One more shocking thing is that in every science subject there is a practical exam of around 30 marks out of 100 in every subject, but still you needn't worry about those 30 marks because all you have to do to help your students get those 30 marks is to bribe CBSE. Just because of the corruption going on there, the schools easily get their top students rewarded with full 30 marks in the practical and viva. Students who don't even know how to hold a test tube secure full thirty in the practicals just because of such unworthy institutions and their corrupt officials. All you have to do the whole year is to be good to your teachers and be obsequious to them and you would get the desired marks.

There are many more things which continue to take place along these things about which I would write in my upcoming articles but one thing that's surely there is the corruption in our education system just due to which our bright students lack behind while the unworthy one go ahead. Today is high time, people of the nation realize this and challenge such nasty organisations otherwise, such things would continue happening and a lot of future students would suffer.

Talent v/s Skill.

In life many a times we often face the perplexed topic of the difference between the "Talent" and the "Skill". If we dig deep town to look at the enigmatic topic in a sophisticatedly fashioned way rather than pondering over so many misconceptions which float around the topic, we would found that indeed there is only a singular difference that exists between the two, much debated hot topics; the distinction being that talent is mundane, present in each one of us but skill is unique dwelling in the hearts of only a few.

Actually talent is something which we have all got; all of us have greatness within us and you can find it in anything you love to do. It's simply not any esoteric thing because each one of us has a special ability to do something different. Its not always about being good at academics, sports etc. but talent can actually be anything and hence its common to all of us but skill is not. Skill is developed only by working hours and hours on our craft, on our forte. Skill in unique to those, who recognize their talent and work towards becoming great and hence skill in not at all common and that's why there is a huge social and economical divide between mediocre people and the great people.

While growing up, we all are given equal amount of time; what separates us all is how we spend that time. Some do that talking, some partying, some playing; some practicing their skill and some sitting idle. And when we have grown up, we get stuck up with the Newton's third law- To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. If you are ready to sacrifice what you have today in order to get tomorrow, what you don't carry; the reaction would give you that thing but if you are busy wasting your life on almost nothing productive, if you are spending your life with unworthy people deeming yourself cool and fashionable, our karma would retract the same way to us and hence when we go ahead, we too would become a part of that social and economic divide and hence everything rests in our hand. So it actually depends on us, whether we want to change the level of skill we have or work under the ones who are busy changing it.

Our biggest lovers...

Criticism is the actual key to success. Whenever we embark to do something great , many milestones come in between and most of the times when we clinch the titles of all the milestones, we actually land up in the overwhelming realm of pride, so even start living vicariously the life they have ever wanted even before reaching the actual success and consequent to this, they indeed stop working and get routed out which is in itself the biggest blunder that we can ever commit and hence to stop us all from falling in the pit and getting extirpated, nature "invented" critics. They are the actual source of motivation and in terms of giving us inspiration, they would never fail. Whenever we try to do something that's an aberration to our level, when we try to change the world that was gifted to us, almost all the times, we would be the fresh takes of the critics. People didn't even forsake God on the matter of criticism, then who we are? And you, you would always face criticism. People will throw so many predictions on you, your passion; would find almost every possible way in order to demean and success but believe me that they love you, because we only motivate the people we love and these people are in so much love in with that they want to find out even the smallest and most trivial folly of yours, so that you become invincible. Such people could be your friends in school, college etc.; your colleagues in office or anywhere else but the common singular thing they all share is actually their love for you.

Many a times we disregard these great people, we try to shut our ears down and don't listen to that at all, and that's the biggest mistake that we commit. Whenever people try to bound you in some limit, whenever they put you behind anybody else, take it as a challenge and this would ultimately lead to success; because success can never be achieved sans motivation and challenges and the biggest thing about our critics is that they are giving us everything for free. So why not accept it all at once and try to give back love to those who rebuke us by proving that our limits are boundless and nobody can dare to go ahead of us. Give back love as back as you can; to those who shower it on you as much as they can...
