THE KILLERS OF EDUCATION SYSTEM OF THE NATION....

It's not a covert fact how the parasite of corruption has been stinging on our education system for so long thus jeopardizing the future of so many students around the nation. Today, one more horrific incident of the scary education system's face came up in front of me and what followed was only resentment at how the whole system has been established. Recently I came to know the procedure through which any candidate can apply for reevaluation of his answer book if he/she has been the part of the CBSE system.

Though its common fact that CBSE is known for miracles. The nation's biggest educational boards, every year increments the number of highly educated, exceptional English philologists (by giving almost everyone 95 marks in English for free) and how such a great passing percentage of CBSE has even made other great nations jealous of us. For that stuff you can ready my previous post (http://hsharma261960.blogspot.in/2016/05/indian-education-systemreaching-nadir.html) but the story doesn't end here. Here is something more relishing about how the papers are checked and how the officials in CBSE get to earn free money just for nothing.

Seriously checking the examination papers of 10 Lakh students is not a child' play for any normal institution and hence this great institution came up with a way to tackle the pressure, the whole system was converted into a game for the examiners, you get paid for every answersheet you check and you can earn for as many answer sheets you check. So its actually a game for all the examiners because, the don't give a damn to any student's future and the only thing they care about is money. Its a natural human tendency that if you are getting paid per answersheet then you would just try to grab as much of them as you can in order to increase the daily earning and in this process of stupidity, mistakes are inevitable and at last there is complete infringement of the student's future because examiners (because of the deeds of CBSE) are in hurry to tick the paper they like based on a few keywords, rather than actually looking into the paper and hence many mistakes creep in, which do harm to none but the students.

But this is actually just a trailer of the tomfoolery being followed up, the film is yet to be screened. If you want to challenge the CBSE's evaluation of your paper, then you have to follow a cumbersome and formidable process. First of all you have to make an online application along with Rs. 300 (per subject) just to get your numbers verified. CBSE takes Rs. 300, just to take out your paper and verify the marks (By the way who knows whether the marks have been actually verified or not; as far as I believe they are not because CBSE would never like to get its reputation challenged). If this appears reasonable to you people, then have a look at it; you will have to pay Rs. 700 more just to get your answer sheet's photocopy to be given to you. Just uploading one answer sheet costs CBSE Rs.700. Nice way to earn free money from every student who has done just one crime id est challenging CBSE's evaluation. Things don't stop here; you have to give an undertaking too, which clearly avers that you can't challenge CBSE in any court of law, you can't challenge the examiner's evaluation; you have no right to raise your voice against CBSE  on any forum. This is actually a harakiri of justice and that too by an educational institution. Students are required to write this whole undertaking and its quite obvious that the student is being made to pen down the undertaking in complete duress. This actually points out the truth of the whole system. First of all they grab so much money and that too for negligible work and afterwards, an institution checking answer sheets of 10 lakh students; is not confident of its checking and evaluation of answer sheets (even CBSE can smell the rat). The ordeal doesn't end here, despite of doling out Rs. 1000 (on an unworthy process), you can actually ask for reevaluation for only 10 questions and each question would be of Rs 100, which leads to a total of Rs. 1000 for 10 question and thus in the end you have to submit Rs. 2000 for just one paper.

If we make up an estimate, per subject CBSE takes up Rs. 2000 on a condition that even if there has been a fault on behalf of CBSE, you won't be able to challenge the evaluation. This actually shows how some corrupt institutions are taking up the whole money with themselves and are decimating the whole of the education system. In this age of modernization, almost every entrance exam's sheets are uploaded online so that the students could view them; but not that of CBSE. Just to get your paper rechecked you have to give Rs. 2000 per subject. I acknowledge the fact that some amount of money must be spent as, they have to call teachers etc. but Rs.1000 for nothing (as verification is just counting the marks again and that surely needs no specialized teacher) and then Rs. 100 per question. Is it a game that first you ask examiners to check all the answer sheets in complete hurry and then you extort money in order to reconsider their paper. Actually institutions like CBSE are responsible for such a degraded education system of our nation. Toppers in Bihar don't know the first element of periodic table, that's shameful but it happens everywhere around the nation. One more shocking thing is that in every science subject there is a practical exam of around 30 marks out of 100 in every subject, but still you needn't worry about those 30 marks because all you have to do to help your students get those 30 marks is to bribe CBSE. Just because of the corruption going on there, the schools easily get their top students rewarded with full 30 marks in the practical and viva. Students who don't even know how to hold a test tube secure full thirty in the practicals just because of such unworthy institutions and their corrupt officials. All you have to do the whole year is to be good to your teachers and be obsequious to them and you would get the desired marks.

There are many more things which continue to take place along these things about which I would write in my upcoming articles but one thing that's surely there is the corruption in our education system just due to which our bright students lack behind while the unworthy one go ahead. Today is high time, people of the nation realize this and challenge such nasty organisations otherwise, such things would continue happening and a lot of future students would suffer.
