The fury of nature

Lately Phailin cyclone, the strongest and sturdiest cyclone to strike the nation in the last 14 years, wrecked havoc in the whole nation. 23 people were killed while around 09 lakh were evacuated safely. The loss of life this time was minimized to very low and this has been there due to the preparedness of the respective authorities and the government. This is the correct model where we can see how governments can limit the loss of life in any incident with effective command over the matter and I am really very happy to listen about the herculean tasks which have been executed there by the bureaucrats and the authorities there.

But now we need to mull over the issue deeply. Why such things are happening today at a faster rate than ever? Are we having any answer to the questions. We have the answer there in our souls but the problem is that today we don't want to pay heed to our soul. Today we all are becoming selfish and cupid with very less attention to the society as well as our inner soul. For our personal gains we have turned a deaf ear towards the mother earth.

When fury of nature arises it destroys everything that comes into its way. Nature is like fire. If you use if prudently you can cook food but if you play with it with imbecility it will completely torch you in its fury.

Mother earth allocated us everything. Land to live, food to eat etc. but we people today are taking all the things for granted and that's today are going on wasting things indiscriminately and non judiciously. Various practices like construction activities etc. are today debilitating the environment and uprooting the nature. Today we are leaving the beautiful and unselfish lap of nature. We are destroying our resources so much that now we have started feeling a lack of them. We are cutting trees day by day which is leading to humongous damage to the whole society, we are using substances harmful for the nature and thus are giving our full contribution in polluting and contaminating the whole nature and this is the problem.

Today our greed has soared much more than our need. We are ready to harm hundred people for the benefit of one. Today we are not even thinking about our coming generation. Our resources are not inexhaustible. Coal is going to diminish in just 198 years. How would we feel when on day our forthcoming generation will ask us, "Why, why you destroyed our innocuous present " and then we will have not answer to give them.

Today we need to make a rational and pragmatic choice in the way how we use our resources. We need to understand the importance of our resources or one day we would be having nothing except sadness and darkness.
Lets today change the world for the better and I believe that yes, we can. We just need to put in sincere and fruitful efforts. Lets today do it because we can do it.

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat
Jai Ma Bharti
