SCAMS AND POLITICS
An embarrassing situation suddenly startled the whole nation. A scam which vitiated and tarnished the image of politcs of the whole India. That thing is COALGATE scam in the India. The scam rocked the whole nation as the so-called above board Prime Minister had all the beans spilled in the front of the whole nation. Our P.M. is also named and embroiled in the respecting scam. The opposition has avered to delay the parliament for sine die and there is complete dead lock in the parliament. But leave all these things for a short period of time lets pay heed to something that needs attention i.e. the government lost Rs. 1.86 lakh crores from its treasure and something more shocking is that our honourable P.M. headed the coal ministry for most of the period between July 2004 and May 2009 during which 142 coal blocks were allotted without competitive bidding and were allocated to companies on an extremely low rate.
The govt is evading all the questions being put in front of it and is trying to conceal the blunders and goof ups made by it which caused the government a humongous amount of loss which in my perspective would definitely take some beating in order to be healed up. Nowadays scams have become common in our country and the common denizens who abide these scams have to bear their weight for nothing. The 2G spectrum caused INDIA 1lakh 76 thousand crores and now this one has alos made us bear an immense amount. While writing this article a joke striked in my mind.
The joke goes like this--
One day a man, named Bhawesh was standing on a bus stop and came to know that he has lost Rs. 10 lakh, his wife was also standing there and suddenly screamed loundly- Whhhhhhhhhhhhat! Have you lost Rs. 10 Lakhs, hearing this screaming all the passengers of the bus commenced looking on Bhawesh and asked what has happend. Bhawesh trying not to reveal and divulge what has happened said nothing bro just a scam has taken place in our country.We were just discussing about that only. A blind man was listening all these things happening and suddenly retorted - India is a big country and can't have scams in lakh it would definitely be in crores you are definitely wrong.
This joke depicts the situation of India very vividly . Thousands of scams are taking place in India day by day and common people there is no where to go. Our India is getting old day by day by these scams. Our P.M. now has also started being embroiled in the scams and the party whose politician instead of indicting that person tries to save him and then again does thousands of things which are wrong in the respecting process.
Nowdays our country is declining. It just spends $32 dollars per capita on its health system. Notwithstanding soaring up our country's health sytem funding it is funding scams. The level of scams are hiking day by day in India and India is becoming the cradle of scams not gradually but rapidly. The level of politics in India has declined to a mean level despite of ameliorating. Every political party is busy in grinding one's own axe. No one is thinking of the country. Instead of punishing culprits political parties are helping them to get away. No one is pondering of the nation and everyone wants a vote bank politics. Whether it is BJP or Congress or SP or BSP everyone wants to play a game that will ensure their votes in their desired constituency. Congress to play a vote bank politics wants to promulgate a law that will promote the SCs/STs in the government job. SP and BSP are also willing to support the motion of the Congress so as to gain the support of Backward Classes and BJP to gain the support of General category has considered of opposing the motion. Everyone is reluctant to play a politics for the nation. What is Politics? This is the thing that we should unravel first. Politcs is the art or science of running governmental or state affairs but nowadays everyone is deeming politics as a measure to run one's own house. But politics is a clean game done in the interest of people. Real politics was played by Vishnugupt to trounce and annihilate the atrocious Nanda Dynasty; by Jawaharlal Nehru to freed his country from the clutches of the british government and by many others who were born for their country and died for the same.(for example Lal Bahadur Shastri, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Jai Prakash Narayan, Ram Manohar Lohia, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, P.V. Narshima Rao and Atal Bihari Vajpayee)
So, I would like to request everyone to do something for the nation in spite of doing something for youself because nation should be the world's first priority for anyone. First comes nation, then your state, then your district, then your block and then your village and if now there is ample energy in you then do something for yourself.
So do something for the nation. Don't follow scoundrels and corrupt people.
