365 FILES OF FEAR

                                   365 FILES OF FEAR

India boasts of a heritage culture in which people have a very great sense of reverence for the women and women are considered the greatest person on this world on earth. But nowadays these things have become nothing but only the simple words written in books and are left with nothing.
Nowadays India is also on its venture to do crimes and our lazy and fatty policeman are permitting these crimes by not doing anything. The police which has been entrusted with the work to save people is always reluctant to act or act when every one (people) have acted, this means that police reach a place when the criminals have fled or the common people have mercilessly and severely beaten them to death.
India is also working very hard in order to record their name in the race of most unsafe countries and wants to excel there. Thousands of new crimes are emerging like cutting a body in 200-300 pieces and many others. Indian criminals are going to outshine our scientists in the invention whether it is of mowing down people. For example recently A cash van was looted by some goons in the swanky South Delhi. Our goons and robbers have also become myth busters and have shattered the belief that the robberies and killing take place at night. Nowadays the new passion is slaying down people, robbing people in the daylight and they have also succeeded in that upto a large extent to which is something that needs a standing ovation.
Now lets move onto the main discussion. In 2006,  205,656 violent crimes were committed across India. By 2011 the number had gone up to 256,329, which portrays a sharp rise  of 24.6%. Across the country, murders have increased by 5.6%, number of rape cases have vexingly soared by 20% and kidnapping is hiking on an alarming rate of 86.1%. Crimes against women have also seen a substantial  and considerable rise. Crime against women has increased by 38.8% from 2006 to 2011, the conviction rate during the sampe phases was 28%, very low as compared to the number of crimes that took place.
Urban India is badly affected the crime. Crime has reached to its zenith and has raised by 64% in 53 megacities (towns with 10 lakh plus population).
Abduction cases have seen a rise of almost 100% in ten years and 44,664 cases of  abduction have been registered showing an increase of 98.6% over 2001. Almost 75% of the abductors are male and 67% of them are below 29 years of age. You can see that most of the criminals and culprits comprise of our young generation whom we say that will take the whole nation to great heights.
The dowry system which has been in India from the medieval period has also seen a rise of 20% since 2000 (6,995 deaths) and figures state that everyday 23 dowry deaths are reported (8,618 death in 2011). Dowry has also been ranked the five most motive for all the murderers (3.9%).
Children, the picture of God should be the most protected, yet are at the greatest risk. In Delhi alone 9000 kids went missing till September this year. While kidnapping and abduction of children accounted for 46.2% of the cases, rapes were 21.5% and other crimes 25.8%. In 88.6% cases of the child abuse, parents were the perpetrators.

The country of holiness is turning into the country of crimes rapidly and now we, the young generation have a need to do something extraordinary that will restrain our Ma Bharti from falling in the bog of crimes. Hope that our young generation will do something for this.

The paeans are oblivion. The teaching of sagacious and shrewd sages has been forgotten. The old day have been eliminated and eradicated and the old teaching have been sent to recycle bin and have been detached  and eradicated from the memory. You all would be thinking- About whom I am talking about. I am talking about the stunning consequences of a study conducted by HelpAge India on abuse of India's elderly which have defamed and tarnished the image of world's oldest and biggest civilization.
The study was conducted in 20 cities involving 5000  older people to be presented to Honorable President Mr. Pranab Mukherjee on October 1, which is celeberated as the International Day of older person, but the results have jolted the whole nation. The figures that have come out of darkness are horrifying.
Here are the results.
Delhi, the capital of India has seen a substantial and hike in abuse of elderly from 12% in 2011 to 29.8%  in 2012. Madhya Pradesh was at the zenith and pinnacle exceeding all the expectations and crossing every hindrance in its path with a humongous and immense 77.12%, while Rajasthan, maintaining the dignity of the nation and our teaching was at nadir with only 01.67% elderly abuse. Wait! the results are not over. About 30%people ware abused in Maharashtra, and 60% in Assam, 27.56% in Tamil Nadu, 52% in Uttar Pradesh, about 43% in Guarat, 42.86% in Andhra Pradesh(AP) and 40.93% in West Bengal.
The study also aver that in 56% cases registered in different NGOs, Police and other  organizations, son was the primary abuser and in 23% cases, daughter-in-law has been found culprit of abusing the respected elderly people.
Nearly 7.5% of India's contemporary population comprises of people above the age of 60 years and these are the people who have been adversely affected by the young generation of India. In the capital in 60% cases registered, in 60% cases, son has been reported as the primary abuser and daughter-in-law in 26% cases. But sorry the last two lines are incomplete. This happened because in Delhi 76% of those old people abused didn't report the matter to the concerned authorities for their so-called fame in the society and fearing that this fame will be demolished due to their reporting of the matter, while in the list of people abused, 35% face the impertinent behavior daily and 69% feel disrespected.

Nowadays, the person who taught us how to stand on one's feet, taught us how to walk, read, write and do everything and sans whom we would have been unable to do even the slightest thing of our life, the person who gave us shelter and refuge in his/her shade is now deprived of the love and affection that he dreamt that his child would give him and has been abused and treated in a very harsh manner that is inexplicable. And pals, this is a very sensitive method on which we never ponder about in our life but this thing needs our attention and we have a need to do something. Old people are not safe anywhere in these world. If they go outside, there is a peril that goons and some unethical people will do something bad to them due to their fragility and in their home, there is the biggest danger-- Their beloved son and Daughter-in-law.
Mothers always dream of giving birth to a son, who will take car of them in their old age and will make them proud in the society, but now the outcomes of their thinking and ideology are coming out of the black and now the world is bearing the fruit of parents this type of mean thinking. In all India level and in state level, the son has outnumbered and outshone girls in being chosen as the culprit of abusing in most cases.
Now, lets move onto the conclusion. Parent Abuse or Elderly Abuse can be curbed by only on method. That method is developing a strong and robust relationship with your child and parents and  I am hundred percent sure that this will work.

Jai HIND, JAI BHARAT AND JAI MA BHARTI.
                             JAI BHARAT KI.

THE FOREIGN WAY.

                                 THE FOREIGN WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY..

First I want to preface this article with a great expression of thanks to all the readers who read my blog and pay heed to my works.
Today I am going to talk about on of the hot gossips perennial and ubiquitous in India. Yes, you are right I am talking about the FDI in India. Something that is all the rage and has attracted the attention and enthralled the people of India whenever the issue arises in the public debate and the government thinks of doing anything about the issue. The issue is Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) which has proved as a nightmare for the small retailers and companies and a very relishing and jovial thing for opposition parties and has been used as ammunition by the opposition in order to condemn and rebuke the policies of government.
Some people are deeming FDI as their while some are considering the FDI as a way of approaching the methods of foreign countries and companies in order to make their company successful, while some other people who have no knowledge about the economy cast their vote in Can't Say ballot because because of apathy for the topic. But if we consider the issue from different angles, we will find that FDI in retail is definitely going to adversely affect everyone and everything in India, Its going to exterminate someone's life while on the other side it is going to make someone's life beautiful, but before jumping to any conclusion so easily lets discuss about the topic deeply and from every angle so that nothing is left out.
What is FDI? Almost everyone is talking about these three alphabets that are going to change the lives of people but only few people are aware and clearly know- What is FDI????????
FDI refers to Foreign direct investment (FDI). From the meaning its transparent and clear that it is related to some foreign activities. FDI direct investment into production in a country by a company located in another country, either by buying a company in the target country or by expanding operations of an existing business in that country.
Nowadays FDI is prevalent in all the developing countries- and Chinese government has even said that- Persuading other companies to work in a country has now become a goal of countries.
If FDI is allowed in a country, this means that the country is allowing and permitting foreign companies to invest in the country by
  • by incorporating a wholly owned subsidiary or company
  • by acquiring shares in an associated enterprise
  • through a merger or an acquisition of an unrelated enterprise
  • participating in an equity joint venture with another investor or enterprise.. --
But FDI affects a country adversely. As a coin has two faces, the same is with FDI. It also holds two faces or aspects through which it can be seen. The first is a good one and the second is a bad one but both have their origin from the same coin.
The merits of FDI in India are -
1. Farmers- The reason given by the government of India in support of the FDI in retail. The role of intermediaries who earn a lion's share in the transportation, buying and selling of grains and crops. These people buy crops at a very low and cheap rate from peasants and sell them at a considerably high price in the markets. But if FDI comes, then companies will directly buy crops from farmers and the role of intermediaries will be dwindled.
2. Technology diffusion and osmosis- Through FDI, Indian companies can also know about how foreign companies work and how everything is maintained which will assist them in gaining success in business.
3. Choice - With so many brands, Indian customers will get a large choice of projects to choose between various companies.
4. Import and Export- This will open the gates for import and export businesses and will open a wide spectrum for those companies.
5.Employment - FDI has also ensured a number of employment opportunities by aiding the setting up of industrial units in various corners of India.

But as we all know "To get something we have to lose something." And the same case is with FDI (Foreign Direct Investment). To avail the cons we have to also bear the cons of this FDI.
In this case pros will pave the ways for cons.
Some of the cons of FDI in retail are:-
1. Draining out of National Income - There will be huge draining out of national income if we allow the FDI, because foreign companies which are more developed than our companies will take all the credits and then use the money in their own company which will lead to the draining of National Income.
2. Small Retailers - Small retailers will be very harshly affected by this FDI as when big companies will come near our home then, we will undeniably prefer to use the products of big companies and the small retailers, shopkeepers would not earn money which would result in their extinction.
3. Indian Companies - There are many computer software companies in India but only two or three like Wipro, Infosys are famous, this is because of the monopoly of companies like Micorsoft, Apple, HP, Samsung etc. in the computer Market. If this is the situation sans FDI in India, then what will happen if the FDI is allowed and permitted.

The last thing that I want to conclude is that FDI is having both good as well as bad features, so India should use the FDI in a limited way and should maintain strictness from the very beginning.

Maratha Politics

Ajit Pawar, Ex- CM of Maharashtra
Nowadays corruption is flourishing in India and has become an integral part of the country. The rampant corruption is prevalent in all the parts of India and that's why now the common denizens of India have become used to tolerating the scams made by the central government and state governments. People raised their voice against this but all things were futile or in vain and didn't bear any fruit and the voice of people was suppressed because no one paid heed to their rising voice.
Again a scam has emerged into limelight from the darkness of politics. This time it is Irrigation scam of Maharashtra which is worth more than your expectation and fantasy and has crossed the gamut of the scams and the imagination of people of India. Today, I am talking about The Maharashtra Irrigation scam, which has cost the losses of Rs. 35,000 crores to Maharashtra Government and has resulted out in the draining of an immense and substantial amount of money which if would have been invested in the welfare of people would have definitely resulted in a great uprise of the lower and lower middle class and would have decidedly cured many problems confronted by the country upto a small extent but, the ministers who are athirst of power and money, notwithstanding considering the problems and queries of the people or the kings who choose them and who put all their faith in them, make plans of replenishing their home with humongous amount of money, but something that these cheap people forget is that "BAD IDEAS AND WORKS CAN NEVER DEFEAT GOOD IDEAS AND WORKS"  and as Chanakya has said" Vinashkale Viprit Budhee" which means during the time of our destruction, we go against our intelligence, and these people also do the same thing and make goof ups which results in their ultimate end.
The Maharashtra irrigation scam was revealed after the Economic Survey’s observation that though Rs 70,000 crores had been spent on various projects in the last decade, the state’s irrigation potential had increased only 0.1% and due to this disclosure DEPUTY CHIEF MINISTER OF MAHARASHTRA MR. AJIT PAWAR has also resigned because he has also been alleged of being embroiled in the Maharashtra Irrigation Scam as he was the state irrigation minister at that time. Ajit Pawar is also the nephew of Mr. Sharad Pawar, Agriculture Minister Of India. The state irrigation ministry has been in hand of NCP since 1999 and was being run by Ajit Pawar till 2009 and after him Sunil Tatkare has  been spearheading the ministry. Ajit Pawar suddenly gave his resignation after the revelation of scam and relinquished his powers but the government in Maharashtra was first reluctant to consider the resignation but has to because of the circumstances. The thing that has disturbed the Maha government more than anything is that this scam coincided with the exposure made by the media about Sunil Tatkare’s alleged involvement in irregularities and the floating of more than 140 companies by his relatives. And you people would undeniably be shocked by the intensity of scam- The scam involves 32 projects in the under-developed Vidarbha region alone while the rest are in Konkan and north Maharashtra. It has also been alleged that the scam involves inviting tenders at higher cost and involves many political bosses, irrigation officials and contractors. The cost of 38 irrigation projects in Vidarbha was increased by over 300% from Rs 6,672 crore to Rs 26,722 crore by the Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation (VIDC) and this was approved in a short span of three months between June and August 2009. The VIDC, however, argued that the costs were revised because of the change in price levels, higher quotes by contractors, increase in the cost of land acquisition, engineering changes and other reasons. In yet another case, revised administrative approval for the Lower Wardha project was granted on the Independence Day, a national holiday.  Interestingly, the cost was revised to Rs 2,356 crore from Rs 950 crore by VIDC executive director on that day.The cost of the Upper Wardha project in Amravati was revised to Rs 1,376 crore from Rs 661 crore.
Another case is that of the Bembala river project in Yavatmal district of Vidarbha. Its cost was revised from Rs 1,278 crore to Rs 2,176 crore on August 14, 2009. Bembala was one of the 10 projects which got approvals in a hurry.
When grilled by the media persons the honorable Ex- minister said
the decisions were taken while keeping the state cabinet in the loop. Furthermore, he added that these decisions were taken well within the power vested in him as the irrigation minister.
But the good news that is coming is that the honest body CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) has started investigating the matter and will come up with honest and fair results soon.
It can only be judged who is guilty after a fair trail but something that is as transparent as a glass is that this scam is undoubtedly a very big one and also includes many big names who have been benefited from the scams and will produce shocking revelations.
